Sheffield diver Freddie wins British championships silver at Ponds Forge

City of Sheffield's Freddie Woodward won a silver medal in the British Diving Championships.
He was beaten into second in the 3m springboard by Leeds’ 21-year-old Jack Laugher who regained his title at Ponds Forge.
Laugher recorded a score of 489.25 with Woodward getting 400.05. James Heatley of Edinburgh was third.
Former European champion Sarah Barrow claimed gold in the women’s 10m platform with a score of 347.90 to beat Dive London’s Georgia Ward.
