The total amount Chesterfield paid to football agents during 2019/20
The Football Association’s records show the cash went on transfers for Josef Yarney, Liam Mandeville, Will Evans, Mike Fondop and Gevaro Nepomuceno.
The sum is considerably less compared to the previous year when they shelled out £73,000 on 21 player transactions between February 2018 and February 2019.

Hide AdThe Spireites were the seventh highest spenders for agents’ fees across all three National League divisions this time around.
Notts County (£69,028), Harrogate Town (29,417) Hartlepool United (24,562), Wrexham (22,080), Yeovil Town (19,837) and Solihull Moors (16,536) all splashed out more.
Dartford spent the least with just £825, with Boston United (1,250), and Maidenhead United and Welling United (both £1,500) just ahead of them.
The total for the National League System was £319,634.
In the Premier League clubs paid £263m to agents, with Liverpool spending the most (£30.3m). Manchester City (£29m), Manchester United (£27.5m) and Chelsea (£26.1m) not far behind. Burnley spent the least (£3.9m).

Hide AdChampionship clubs spent almost £50m with Stoke City topping the list (£5.6m).
League One clubs splashed nearly £4m with Sunderland (£1.3m) taking up a large chunk of that.
A total of £1.1m was spent by League Two clubs, Bradford City (114,000) paid out the most.
The figures are for the period between February 1 2019 and January 31 2019.
In other news, a start date of September 12 for the new National League season has been suggested.
