He has been with City since he was eight years old, excelling in his time there and spending time in sides with players such as Jadon Sancho, Phil Foden and Eric Garcia. He is one of a raft of highly-rated youngsters at the club yet to have been graced with a full senior appearance.
His brother Tom plays for Watford having left City last year.
What is his playing style and how would he fit in?
Dele-Bashiru has been compared with Yaya Toure due to his languid running style and eye for goal from long range.

Like most City youth players he is tactically gifted and has been used as a holding midfielder from time to time, though he is best given the freedom to roam.
Young and raw, it could be that he fits nicely into the 3-5-2 system preferred by Monk since the lockdown period in a similar high-energy mould to that of Massimo Luongo.
What has Garry Monk said about him?
Speaking after the Owls’ 3-0 win at QPR, Monk refused to be drawn when asked whether the club were interested in the youngster, saying: “I don’t talk about speculation until there’s something concrete and something is done with any player.
