The Germany-born DR Congo international, who can play as a wide forward or as a central striker, was instrumental in the Terriers’ promotion from the Championship in the 2016/17 season before two years in the Premier League.
The 28-year-old played 36 times for Huddersfield last season, scoring three times and providing five assists.

Attacker Kachunga spent his early career in Germany with Borussia Mönchengladbach and SC Paderborn and played for Germany at youth level before he made the switch to England.
A powerful, direct option with a powerful right foot, Kachunga arrives just a couple of days before the Owls’ Carabao Cup season opener at Walsall on Saturday.
Speakig after a 0-0 pre-season friendly draw with Leicester, Owls boss Garry Monk said: “It's been brilliant with a lot of hard work, plenty of sessions in the day and we mixed it away from here with team spirit and team building activities and finished with a game. In terms of what we wanted from the week we definitely got that.
“There's a lot of improvement to go in certain areas to help the group we have which we are trying to work on but overall we are very pleased.”
