Sheffield Wednesday duo nearing return, Chey Dunkley and Osaze Urhoghide spotted in latest Owls shots

Osaze Urhoghide has been on the comeback trail after picking up a knee injury towards the end of last season, while Chey Dunkley hasn’t played since a double leg break earlier in the year, but the latest pictures would suggest they’re both making good progress.
The duo were both shown to be in training as part of the full group today, though it’s as yet unknown whether they were involved in full contact training as Monk eases them into matters so as not to rush them back too soon.

Hide AdUrhoghide and Dunkley were shown training alongside new signings, Elias Kachunga and Josh Windass, last week after the latter pair completed their move to Hillsborough, and Garry Monk did hint that they weren’t too far away from a return to action.
He said after the Carabao Cup win over Walsall, “Chey is not far away… I knew him coming here he was going to be a little bit behind the others but he is working really hard and progressing every day.
"The same with Osaze. Hopefully we will get to that first game, or just after that, with a fully fit squad."
So while fans can be optimistic that a debut for Dunkley and return for Urhoghide aren’t too far away, only time will tell whether Saturday’s Championship opener with Cardiff City will come to soon or not – that will become clearer later this week.
