Here are Owls writer Dom Howson's player ratings (only players with more than five appearances this season have been included):
1. Keiren Westwood 7.5
Westwood was frozen out in the first half of the campaign under former manager Jos Luhukay but excelled after returning to the team just before Christmas, clocking up an impressive 11 clean sheets in 21 outings. Photo: JP
2. Cameron Dawson 6
Dawson endured a mixed season. It took him until the 17th match of the season to record a clean sheet. There were times when he was left horribly exposed by his defence but Dawson's form was also patchy. Photo: jp
3. Liam Palmer 6
The full-back was in and out of the team under Luhukay but has flourished since the turn of the year. Palmer has acquitted himself well in multiple positions, prompting Steve Bruce to offer him a new contract. Photo: Steve Ellis
4. Ash Baker 5
The 22-year-old international played 12 times in his first full season at Championship level. He has yet to feature since Bruce's appointment, falling behind Dominic Iorfa and Palmer in the pecking order for a starting berth. Photo: Steve Ellis
