Hide AdBarring any late hitches, Da Cruz is poised to become Wednesday's second signing of the January transfer window, following in the footsteps of Argentine winger Manuel Hidalgo.
Da Cruz could be unveiled as a Wednesday player tomorrow.
The Owls are looking to further strengthen their attacking options before Friday's transfer deadline. Crystal Palace striker Connor Wickham, who has previously enjoyed two loan stints at Hillsborough, is on their radar but sources in South Wales say Cardiff City are also big admirers of the player.
