It has been reported that a letter sent to all EFL clubs, stating that the possibility of matches being played at ‘regional hubs’ behind closed doors is being explored.
It is believed that the football authority remains keen that clubs host their own games as the fixtures originally dictated, but plans are being put into place in case this remains unfeasible on the grounds of safety.

It is said that a number of venues in London, the South West, the Midlands, the North West and the North East will be looked at with the possibility that they could host multiple games, so as to lessen the impact on emergency services around the country.
Football authorities in England remain steadfast in their plans for the season to be completed, with backing from the gevernment, despite countries across Europe drawing their campaigns to a halt, with France yesterday becoming the latest, joining Holland and Belgium.
However, it has been made clear that matches will only be played if the safety of all those taking part can be assured.
