and live on Freeview channel 276
It was thought that Massimo Luongo had played his last game for Sheffield Wednesday this season as he recovers from injury, but there’s now been a suggestion that he could be back to play at least a part in the final run in.
Luongo has endured a difficult season in 2020/21, making just 12 Championship appearances in what will probably go down as the toughest season in his career.

Hide AdDarren Moore had hinted that the Australian international wouldn’t be ready to play a part in any of the last few games, but the latest update is that he’s in with a chance.
Speaking to the media ahead of the trip to Middlesbrough, stand-in manager, Jamie Smith, said, “There’s no fresh concerns from the Blackburn game… Chey is getting closer, he’s been out with Tony Strudwick over the last week or so, and joining in little bits of the training – he’s well on his way. We’re hoping he can play again this season.
“Massimo is in the same sort of boat with regards to where he’s at. He’s doing stuff out on the grass with Struds, and doing bits with the team as well.
“Cam is doing well, doing a lot of work in the gym, and progressing well.”

Hide AdSmith also gave an update on Joost van Aken and Izzy Brown, one of whom definitely won’t be in the squad this coming weekend, while he also gave a more general update on getting back other injured players such as Moses Odubajo.
He said, “Joost didn’t training yesterday, so we’ll wait and see how he is this morning… Izzy isn’t in, he’s still ill. He could potentially be back next week, hopefully we’ll have him back in.
“Fingers crossed a few can get back. That’s what they’re working towards, and if that does happen that’ll be excellent for us because it’ll give us more choice and more opportunities to change things around if needed.”
Wednesday face Boro at 3pm on Saturday, and need another three points to guarantee them the chance of being able to extend their survival battle by another week.
