“It’s a shame this didn’t come sooner…” - Another glowing Darren Moore review as Sheffield Wednesday take aim at QPR
and live on Freeview channel 276
Reach is one player who seems to have found a new lease of life under Darren Moore and was back to his best earlier this week as he bagged a brace in the 5-0 demolition of Cardiff City.
The wide player is out of contract at Hillsborough this summer, but insists that everybody is still fully committed to the cause as they look to achieve a monumental great escape by keeping the Owls in the Championship.

He told the media this week, “A win is brilliant, but if you don’t back it up with another one then it’s one step forward and two steps back in a way.
“We need to win games, and you sound like a broken record at times just saying it, but we need four or five more wins and have to hope that others drop points.
“It’s going to be difficult, but one thing I’m sure of is that the coaching staff fully believe and the players themselves fully believe - so hopefully we can do it.”

“I’m 100% confident, hopefully this season in terms of survival - but realistically if things don’t go the way we want, I think he’s the right person to bring this club success and bring the positive mindset back.
“I think he’s the right person to take this club in a positive direction - whatever players are here next season.
“I think more than anything, he’s brought belief to the squad… I just think it’s a shame that this didn’t come sooner, because we might have been a lot closer to survival than we are.
“But we fully believe that we can get out.”
Wednesday face QPR at 3pm on Saturday.
