The 2019/20 campaign has come to an end for the Owls after what was a long and gruelling season in the English Championship, and ahead of the Heads Up FA Cup final on August 1st between Arsenal and Chelsea, SWFC are looking to do their bit in raising money for a very worthy cause.
A statement on the club’s official website today read, “The Owls’ signed, match-worn shirts from their clash with Barnsley at Oakwell are now up for auction in support of the ‘Heads Up’ mental health campaign.

“There are 18 Wednesday shirts up for auction from the 1-1 draw with the Tykes, in which Josh Windass scored the Owls’ goal. Bidding starts at £75 and closes at 12.00pm on Wednesday 12 August.”
‘Heads Together’ is ‘a mental health initiative spearheaded by The Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’, which aims to combine ‘a campaign to tackle stigma and change the conversation on mental health with fundraising for a series of innovative new mental health services’.
Fans have the opportunity to bid on the shirts of their favourite players, which start at £75, with some – most notably Dominic Iorfa’s – looking substantially more match-worn than others.
