Darren Moore’s touching efforts to unite Sheffield Wednesday – on and off the field
and live on Freeview channel 276
The Star understands that Moore has made extra efforts to make sure all of the club’s staff – both on the field and off it – feel like they’re part of a family following his arrival, taking time at the training ground to get to know all of those involved in the day-to-day running of the club.
It is thought that the former defender is eager to foster a sense to togetherness at the club in order to make sure that everyone is on the same page, bringing the same ‘we not me’ feeling to the setup at Middlewood Road and placing specific emphasis on learning the names of everybody involved.

Hide AdWhile his debut result against Rotherham United wasn’t what he’ll have been hoping for following a last-gasp Millers winner, Moore is looking to give the club the best possible chance of Championship survival – and he seems to think that success is not just down to the players and his technical team.
His efforts behind the scenes in just a few short days could help breed a spirit in the club that could have waned in recent months given the circumstances.
Next up for the Owls is another big game against Reading this coming weekend as they seek to get back to winning ways and halt their torrid run of league form, with Moore desperate to get his first three points in the bag as soon as possible.
