It’s fair to say that co-commentator Steve McManaman wasn’t endearing himself to Blades supporters with some of his views, with many searching for the ‘mute’ button.
@liam_badger96 posted: “They’ve been no better than us, getting everything off the ref and Steve mcmanaman can ****** aswell.”

@trequartbeasta added: “United need to get a bit quicker in attack but, penalty aside, have looked less shaky at the back. ******** **** Darren Fletcher and Steve McManaman are dreadful comms. The best example being Fletcher completely misunderstanding the shots on target graphic.”
And @cuttinedgeblade wrote: “Petition to get rid of Steve McManaman as well. Worst commentator I've ever heard in my life”
@beck041295 asked @btsportfootball: “any chance of giving mcmanaman an early finish? Don’t want to watch the 2nd half on mute...”

Then a referee who a fortnight ago couldn’t see a ball in the back of the net while on VAR duty decides he can see one of the softest penalties in a generation. Steve Mcmanaman to mute also.”
There were many more but this is a family publication
