The centre-forward was speaking ahead of Sunday’s match against Wolverhampton Wanderers, which could see Chris Wilder’s side climb to fifth.
Acknowledging United’s target at the beginning of the season was simply to establish a foothold in the division, Robinson said: “Before each match we are coming out more confident and thinking we can do really well in this league.

United will stretch their unbeaten run to seven outings if they avoid defeat at Molineux. That run includes a win over Arsenal and draws with Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United.
Pointing to their performance against the three-time European champions, who found themselves trailing 2-0 at one stage of the contest, Robinson insisted United’s lack of top-flight experience should not prove an issue as the season unfolds.
“Against Manchester United, it wasn’t just about goals, for 70 minutes we outplayed them,” the Republic of Ireland, a summer signing from Preston North End, said. “That was a really good thing to see. It’s a results-based game but it’s nice to see us controlling them as well.”

Wilder has a full quota of players to choose from.
The Blades were missing Dean Henderson last week (ineligible) and John Egan (concussion) but both will be available again for the match at Molyneux.
Perhaps most importantly, in-form striker Lys Mousset has also been passed fit having come off injured following a monumental effort in last week’s 3-3 draw with Manchester United at Bramall Lane.
