Bogle was one of the few United players to finish last season with their reputation enhanced, impressing following a summer move from Derby County despite his new club’s relegation to the Championship.

But with Bogle understood to be relaxed about the prospect of remaining in South Yorkshire and working under new manager Slavisa Jokanovic United will ignore any attempt by City to lure them to the negotiating table - preferring to wait until the Serb has had a chance to properly assess his options instead.
United report back for pre-season training next week, although Jokanovic is not scheduled to appear at the Steelphalt Academy until July 1. The former Yugoslavia and Chelsea midfielder elected to honour his contract with Al-Gharafa before officially taking over from Chris Wilder - a decision which prevented United from being forced to agree a severance package with the Qataris.
Bogle, who turns 21 next month, scored on his Premier League debut for United during December’s draw with Brighton and Hove Albion.

Capped by England at under-20 level, Bogle’s versatility could make him an important part of Jokanovic’s side with the 52-year-old hoping to experiment with several different systems before the new campaign gets underway.
United will discover their schedule on Thursday, when the EFL fixtures are published alongside the draw for the first round of the EFL Cup.
