Rushton's bid to shed pounds
"My trainer thinks that I could make a real impact at welterweight," said Rushton.

But that is one thing that you can't accuse Rushton of being.
He showed that he is one of the toughest boxers in the division in his last fight against British ranked No 8 Gary Woolcombe at London's legendary York Hall last month.
Although he was stopped in the penultimate round of their scheduled eight rounder, Rushton impressed the knowledgable York Hall and millions of TV viewers when surviving a second round battering.
"I definitely learned a lot from that fight which will hopefully stand me in good stead in future fights," said Rushton.
