Woman taken to hospital after being hit by car in Sheffield
A pedestrian has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car on a busy road in Sheffield city centre.
Emergency services were called to Rockingham Street, close to Broad Lane, at around 8:30pm last night following reports of a collision between a car and a pedestrian.
Police said the pedestrian, a 23-year-old woman, was taken to hospital and her injuries are thought not to be life-threatening or changing.
