The Met Office has issues yellow weather warnings for thunderstorms for the rest of this week, including the weekend, and into next week.
The Met Office has warned: “There is a small chance that homes and businesses could be flooded quickly, with damage to some buildings from floodwater, lightning strikes, hail or strong winds.”

Hide AdIn spite of the potential thundery wet weather, it is expected to stay hot thoughout today, with temperatures once again reaching 30C.
The hottest point of today is yet to come, with the temperature expected to peak at 4pm.
It will cool down as the week goes on, with highs of 24C and 23C tomorrow and Friday, and then highs of 21C in Sheffield at the weekend.
