Hide AdA spokesman for Friends of Sandall Park, the volunteer group that looks after the park, said the protective measures had not been removed by Doncaster Council.
She said: “All the plastic netting and the warning signs have been removed and people are using it. The guidance is still do not use play area and outdoor equipment.
“Whoever did this was acting unlawfully. Please adhere to the rules - they are there for everyone's safety.”
