VIDEO: Film showing to reach new heights at Abbeydale Picture House
Owner Phil Robins climbed the outside of the Picture House in a reenactment of the famous climbing scene from film Safety Last.
The silent comedy will be shown at the cinema on Saturday March 26, accompanied by a live pianist.

Hide AdSafety Last is director Harold Lloyd’s most-famous film and features him as a sales clerk in a department store, who finds himself hanging desperately from the hands of a collapsing clock on the side of a skyscraper, high above the streets of downtown Los Angeles.
Ticket holders will also be able enjoy old fashioned cocktails in historic surroundings.
Abbeydale Picture House, on Abbeydale Road hosts temporary film nights and festivals - and could open as a cafe or bar for live music nights.
A planning application has been submitted to Sheffield Council for a replacement dance floor and new bar and kitchen facilities. It is hoped that the building will be used more regularly in the future.
