Thieves attempt ram-raid on Duckmanton cashpoint AGAIN
Derbyshire police are appealing for witnesses after an attempt was made to steal a cash machine in Duckmanton.
The incident follows a similar incident in July 2015, when a gang of thieves ripped the ATM from the wall of the Co-op convenience store and petrol station, before hoisting it into an open-top van.

Hide AdThe thieves also stole a JCB construction vehicle from a nearby building site in the course of the burglary.
Derbyshire police said: "At around 4am this morning (Tuesday, June 14) police were called to the Co-op service station on Chesterfield Road in Duckmanton after reports that an attempt had been made to steal the ATM machine.
"Officers attended and searched the area. A black Land Rover Discovery, which had damage to its rear end, was found abandoned in a field off of Rectory Road.
"Anyone that saw the Land Rover between the times of 4am and 4.15am, or any other vehicles driving erratically in the area, is asked to contact DC Craig Chidlow on 101 quoting incident number 48 of June 14."
It is not believed the same group are responsible.
