Hide AdRichard’s five-year-old daughter Jade has cerebral palsy and the pair are taking on the Eastern Europe expedition to raise funds for cerebral palsy charity Cerebra.
The drive has been organised by the charity - and one of its stipulations was any car entered must have cost less than 100.
Richard bought a 1991 Rover 416 from a mate and the decorated it himself with artex.
“My friend’s had the car for years so at least I know it’s reliable,” Richard, 34, said.
“It certainly looks pretty colourful now I’ve artexed it.
“It’s a pretty old car and it’s quite a long drive - let’s just hope we make it!”
