Staff wear jeans for genes research
STAFF at a car dealership in Barnsley swapped their business suits for jeans to raise £117 towards vital life-saving medical research.
The annual Jeans for Genes day saw staff from the Dodworth Road Polar Ford dealership donating 2 each in return for wearing their jeans to work.
Deborah Rhodes, who organised the event, said: “Everyone enjoyed taking part, and we were thrilled to be able to raise as much money as possible for such a good cause.”
Jeans for Genes was established in 1996, and raises funds for research into serious and life-threatening genetic disorders affecting thousands of children.
