South Yorkshire Police in new blitz on crime
A police blitz on crime is underway in Barnsley today in which officers will flood the streets.
Dozens off officers gathered in the town for an early morning briefing, with the aim of the operation to focus on issues of concern to residents.
Known as Operation Duxford, the crime crackdown is aimed at protecting vulnerable people, engaging with communities and tackling crime.
