Sheffield's Meet the Experts event hailed a huge success
The Meet the Experts business showcase brought together some of the city’s top brands offering expert advice on anything and everything to do with businesses across the city, from how to boost your fitness to booking holidays and getting legal advice.
A total of six businesses and organisations had information stalls along Fargate today, Tuesday, July 12.

Hide AdStaff from Sheffield International Venues were on hand to give fitness tips and to explain about their Fitness Unlimited membership deals at leisure facilities across the city, including at Ponds Forge International Sports Centre, Hillsborough Leisure Centre and Concord Sports Centre.
Staff encouraged customers to make their own fruit smoothies - by powering the blender using a pedal bike.
Sales and training manager Kevin Williams, aged 34, of Worksop, said: “We thought it would be a fun way to try and attract customers and it helps people to get fit.
“Facilities such as Ponds Forge have undergone a major refurbishment and really are amazing. This event helps us to get that message out there.”

Hide AdVisitors spoke to representatives from Howells Solicitors and Norrie Waite and Slater Solicitors about their legal services.
Carly Ludlam, senior marketing executive for Howells, said: “It is great to be able to come out and meet customers and show them our wide range of services.”
Andrew Raftery, aged 30, of Crookes, a solicitor at Norrie Waite and Slater, added: “Events like this help us to put a face to the business.”
Those looking for a day trip or holiday headed to Maxfields Travel to learn about their deals.

Hide AdBen Maxfield, aged 31, of Sheffield, senior travel consultant, said: “We are based out of the city centre in Swallownest so it is good to come to a place where there is a lot of footfall.”
Grosvenor Casinos staff were also there to give out expert advice on entertainment, food and drink packages.
Foster Care Co-operative were there to offer advice on everything to do with fostering, from recruiting to training new foster carers.
And staff from event organisers The Star and Sheffield Telegraph, had an information stand.
