Sheffield FC bring back two former players to boost strikeforce

Worsfold arrives on a month’s loan from Evo-Stik Premier side Buxton having joined the Bucks last summer.
The 24-year-old spent his formative years at Sheffield Wednesday, before moving on to Goole. His next port of call was at Parkgate where he quickly became a prolific scorer, scoring 24 goals in 2011-12.

Hide AdAfter a short first spell at Sheffield, he was snapped up by Nicky Law at Alfreton Town before joining Conference North Harrogate Town 12 months later where he finished Harrogate’s top scorer in the 2013-14 season.
A broken leg at the start of last season hampered his progress but after enjoying a successful loan spell with Leamington last March Worsfold then became Buxton boss Martin McIntosh’s first signing last summer.
Cusworth was in his third season for NCEL Premier Division side Maltby, having finished top scorer in the first two seasons and was leading the way this term with 12 goals.
He first made his mark at Parkgate where he was was a prolific scorer earning a move to Alfreton Town.

Hide AdThe big striker then moved to neighbours Stocksbridge before his first spell at Sheffield then returning to Parkgate during the 2011-12 season.
Sheffield’s away trip to Carlton Town, postponed last weekend due to a waterlogged pitch, has been rearranged for Saturday, February 20.
