Safety sessions for South Yorkshire bikers and scooters
The course, aimed a improving riding skills, is a mix of theory and practical advice covering issues including identifying the best position on the road to see and be seen by other road users, how to brake in an emergency, how to turn quickly and safely and how to recognise risks and identify major hazards.
Sessions organised by the South Yorkshire Safer Roads Partnership will be held at a number of venues across South Yorkshire, including the Lifewise Centre, Hellaby.

Hide AdJoanne Wehrle, the partnership’s interim manager, said: “We want all riders to stay safe on South Yorkshire roads and reduce the number of riders involved in collisions.
“Drivers will be encouraged to always ‘think bike’ and look out for riders.
