Road cordoned off by police and building evacuated on University of Sheffield campus

Police have cordoned off a road on the University of Sheffield campus.
The area on Mapping Street and Porobello has blocked off by officers in the last hour.
A call was made to South Yorkshire Police to report 'suspicious activity' and the St George's Library was evacuated.

Hide AdA police spokesman said: "We received the call and attended the campus off Mappin Street to reports of suspicious activity.
"We evacuated the building as a precaution but there was no concerns surrounding the reports. The call was made with good intentions."
