Rading preview for Wednesday, May 11
John Gosden’s Dubawi filly has plenty to live up to as a daughter of the magnificent Dar Re Mi, a multiple Group One winner for the Clarehaven maestro.
Despite her regal breeding, she was seemingly not that well fancied on her Windsor debut last autumn, but belied a market drift with a late surge to make a successful debut.

Hide AdGosden made a bold call for her first start of the new campaign, pitching her in against the boys in a Derby trial at Epsom, but she justified the decision with another marginal but authoritative success.
That April effort looks even better with the benefit of hindsight, with the runner-up Humphrey Bogart landing the Lingfield Derby Trial and the third, Viren’s Army, clinching the Dee Stakes at Chester.
Dar Re Mi was beaten into third in the Musidora eight years ago, but her exciting daughter is unlikely to make the same mistake as she bids to confirm her current standing as the leading British-trained contender for the Investec Oaks.
A quality field has assembled for the Duke of York Clipper Logistics Stakes, headed by Henry Candy’s top-drawer sprinter Twilight Son.

He tasted defeat for the first time when runner-up behind the brilliant Muhaarar on Champions Day at Ascot, but was clear best of the rest.
Twilight Son must concede weight all round, but two of the last three winners, Society Rock and Maarek, did just that and this exciting colt is expected to follow suit.
