Coun Jayne Dunn joined Labour Party Leader Keir Starmer for the video, which has been released in the final week of campaigning ahead of the local elections on Thursday.
Coun Dunn, who is not standing for election herself this time around, is shown in her beauty salon in Broomhill.

“As a single mum the Labour Government helped me set up my small business. which 20 years later is still going strong.
“I want people to have hope, because that’s what the Labour Government gave me, over 30 years ago.
“Small independent businesses like mine are the backbone of our communities and Labour will give small businesses support to enable our communities and our district shopping centres to thrive.”
