Police investigate armed robbery at South Yorkshire petrol station
Police are investigating an armed robbery at a petrol station in South Yorkshire.
At around 3.25pm on Monday, it is reported that a man with his face covered entered a petrol station in Selby Road, near Thorne, and reportedly threatened staff with a metal bar.
A quantity of cash was taken during the incident before the man fled towards Thorne.
He is described as wearing dark jogging bottoms and a black jacket with a dark hooded top underneath.
