Stocksbridge Nursery Infant School said the school did their bit in raising funds for Comic Relief charity, as the children swapped their usual uniforms by donning something red.
Headteacher Jane Townsend said: "We've had a lovely, fun day in school. We've dressed in red, worn clothes backwards, had faces painted, told jokes, had a spot the nose quiz, run competitions and played games."

Headteacher Catherine Whittingham said the children enjoyed dressing in red and sharing jokes with each other for Red Nose Day.
She added: "There has been a lot of laughing (and groaning!) about some really bad jokes, so we're all ending the week feeling happier.
"We're really proud that the children, their families and staff have donated over £140 to Comic Relief, as well."

Headteacher Catherine Timbers said, "Broomhill families are as generous as ever!"
The theme of this year's Red Nose Day is "Share A Smile".
The money raised will support people in the UK and around the world as it aims to tackle hunger, homelessness, domestic abuse and mental health stigma.
Comic Relief's night of TV is set to broadcast live on BBC One on Friday from 7pm.
