St Luke's Hospice puts out urgent Sheffield appeal for volunteers in Firth Park
The Firth Park shop is one of the 13 St Luke’s stores operated throughout the city.
And with customers now back and looking for bargains, an appeal has gone out for extra volunteer support, with up to 10 vacancies currently looking to be filled.

Hide Ad“If you are looking for new opportunities, a chance to be part of a fantastic team, develop new skills and support a great cause, then please do get in touch as we really do need you,” said shop manager Jonny Tozer.
“We are particularly keen to hear from anybody who would like to be till trained but we have different opportunities available and there really is a volunteer role for everyone.
“There is a great feeling of family and community in our Firth Park shop and volunteering is a great way to support a charity that touches many people’s lives.
“It is also a fantastic way to pick up some new skills thanks to our many training opportunities.”

Hide AdBefore the pandemic took hold, the St Luke’s shops were raising almost £3 million towards the annual £10 million cost of running the charity and the aim is now to get the operation running at full strength again as quickly as possible.
Volunteer opportunities are available at the St Luke's shops in Abbeydale, Broomhill, Chapeltown, City Road, Crookes, Crystal Peaks, Firth Park, Gleadless, Hillsborough, Stocksbridge, and at the St Luke’s Donation Centre, close to Meadowhall.
