Sheffield Cathedral to host service of commemoration for HRH Prince Philip
The Duke of Edinburgh died last week at the age of 99 and his funeral is to be held on Saturday, April 17.
To mark the passing of Prince Philip, a service is to be held at Sheffield Cathedral at 7.30pm the day before.

Hide AdThe service will be will be attended by representatives across Sheffield South Yorkshire, including Her Majesty’s Lord Lieutenant of South Yorkshire, Andrew Coombes.
The service, which will not be open to the public, will be streamed live on Sheffield Cathedral’s Facebook page and YouTube channel.
Prince Philip’s funeral on Saturday will be held at St George's Chapel, in the grounds of Windsor Castle, at 3pm, when a minute’s silence will be held.
The event will be televised.
Messages of condolence can be left on the Church of England’s online memorial book.
