Festival celebrating Sheffield’s sanctuary seekers returns online and in person

The Migration Matters festival - in its sixth year of running - will once again coincide with Refugee Week, between June 14 to June 20.
People will be able to get involved with a variety of arts, discussions and workshops, which will all be free to access on Zoom, Facebook and YouTube.

Hide AdArtists such as Music Action International and Howl Yuan and Cuong Pham, will be taking part in the festivities.
There is also the chance for people to share Sheffield’s stories of migration, which aims to ‘give people a platform to be heard’.
As with previous festivals, donations are encouraged, the proceeds of which will go towards charities that support sanctuary seekers across the world.
In person events for the Migration Matters festival will take place on July 9-17
