Injured Sheffield police officer still recovering at home
PC Lisa Bates, aged 31, suffered a fractured skull, broken leg and severe hand injuries in an attack in Plowright Close, Gleadless Valley, on Wednesday, April 13.
She underwent a number of operations following the attack, which happened while she was on duty.

Hide AdPC Bates was one of five officers injured in the incident, which spilled out into the Co-op in nearby Blackstock Road.
A South Yorkshire Police spokesman said: "Lisa continues to recover at home and is very grateful for everyone's continued support and for the well wishes she has received.
Members of the public have donated over £7,800 for PC Bates and her colleagues since the incident after an online fundraising page was set up.
Nathan Sumner, 35, of Plowright Close, Gleadless Valley, is charged with attempted murder, six counts of assault by beating, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, two counts of making threats to kill, affray, threatening a person with a blade in a public place and production of cannabis.

Hide AdHe has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Sheffield Crown Court on August 12.
Sumner has not yet entered any pleas.
A two-week trial slot at Sheffield Crown Court has been earmarked for October.
