A man has called for a crossing to be installed at a Chesterfield road to safely link a hotel with the town centre - amid fears someone could be killed.
Farid Abdi - who is currently working near the Crooked Spire and staying at the Ibis hotel - described the walk across Hollis Lane as a 'life-threatening experience'. Derbyshire County Council admitted there were 'no easy answers to the issue'.
