Homes to be built on site of old Sheffield dairy
City councillors last week approved Stuart Woolley’s plan to demolish the dairy at Cow Mouth Farm in Hemsworth Road, Norton, and put up 13 houses in its place.
Mr Woolley, of Bracken Burrows Ltd, was also granted permission to convert the existing farmhouse into a home.

Hide AdCouncillors had previously agreed to the principal of redeveloping the site, but have now approved the detailed plans for the site.
Some residents had raised concerns about whether an agreement with the previous landowner to allow access through the farm between Warminster Place and Hemsworth Road would be maintained.
The applicant suggested that would be the case, and councillor officers raised the possibility of a ‘walkway agreement’, which was deemed acceptable.
