Hallam celebrate Non-League Day by powering into FA Vase second round

The hosts started the brighter but Charnock edged in front when Oxley latched onto a long ball, held off his markers and drilled past Archie Sneath.

Hide AdCharnock were lifted and it took a fine save from Sneath to prevent them from carrying a two goal lead into the break.
Kicking down the slope, Hallam came out strong for the second half and finally drew level just after the hour.
Kieran Watson was played through on goal by Sam Smith and fired into the top corner.
Hallam turned the game on its head in the 73rd minute with a superbly worked goal.

Hide AdNiall Smith charged down the left and delivered a low ball which Smith darted onto before the keeper could claim and steered in with a deft touch.
Hallam put the result beyond doubt three minutes from time. Catching Charnock on the break, Sneath's long clearance was flicked on to Micah Bishop, whose instinctive touch sent substitute Reece Treasure clear and saw him round the keeper to score from a tight angle.
Joining them in the next round are Dronfield Town who won a tight contest with Barrow Town, decided with Sam Wood's 62nd minute strike.
'It's a great result for the club,' Dronfield boss Chris Millington said.

Two second half goals saw a patched-up Handsworth Parramore side exit with a defeat to Irlam.
Manager Jas Colliver was bitterly disappointed with the result. He said: 'I'm gutted to exit the Vase.
'We gave our all, particularly in the second half.
'We had a new goalkeeper and a new centre-back pairing, and Ollie Fearon doing a job out of position so it was never going to be slick football.'

Hide AdStaveley Miners Welfare will go again after twice coming from behind to draw 2-2 at Inkerall Road against high-flying North West Counties side Silsden, who finished the game with nine men.
A tremendous strike from Jahmal Riley from the edge of the box drew Staveley level mere moments after Silsden took a 36th minute lead.
And Tyler Bell's header from a Matty Parkin cross again saw them equalise after Silsden again went ahead on 66 minutes.
Staveley had a chance to win it in the final minute when awarded a penalty only for former Doncaster Rovers youngster Joe Pugh to see his effort saved.

Hide AdSwallownest lost 4-3 on penalties on their first outing in the competition as they lost to Garstang with both sides finishing with ten men.
Juninho Blake fired Swallownest into a second minute lead from the edge of the area after a corner came back off the crossbar.
Ric Coar drew Garstang level just past the half hour mark with Swallownest appealing for offside.
The game remained 1-1 and moved into extra time with Nathan Morritt going close to winning it for Swallownest.
