Five men due in Sheffield court for using police helicopter to film without permission
The men will appear at Sheffield Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday, May 10, each charged with counts of misconduct in public office.
Matthew Lucas, 41, faces three counts, while Lee Walls, 46, faces one count. Both are serving South Yorkshire Police officers and have been suspended from duty. Lucas is based in Sheffield while Walls works in operational support services.

Hide AdMatthew Loosemore, 44, who was a South Yorkshire Police pilot before transferring to the National Police Air Service in 2013, faces one count. Adrian Pogmore, 50, a former South Yorkshire Police officer, faces four count. And
Malcolm Reeves, 63, who was a pilot at South Yorkshire Police before retiring in 2013, faces two counts.
The charges relate to four incidents between 2007 and 2012; one on August 23, 2007, two on July 28, 2008, and one on July 22, 2012. The investigation relates to unauthorised filming while using the force helicopter.
