Fifa World Cup 2018: Pride in Three Lions' World Cup call for local heroes
Sheffield trio Harry Maguire, Kyle Walker and Jamie Vardy are joined by John Stones from Barnsley, Dronfield-born Gary Cahill and Danny Rose from Doncaster.
There was a huge expression of pride in the Three Lions’ call-up.

Hide AdVardy tweeted: “What an honour! No words to describe the feeling right now. Can’t wait to get going! See you in Russia.”
Walker added: “Honoured to be able to represent England at the 2018 World Cup! Can’t wait to get there and do the fans proud!”
Maguire, meanwhile, posted a picture of himself with some friends watching his country at Euro 2016 in France, along with the message: “2 years ago watching England in France with my mates. Now on the plane to Russia. How things have changed. #AlwaysBelieve.”
England manager Southgate said: "I believe this is a squad which we can be excited about.
