Woman still fighting for life in Sheffield hospital after collision which left man dead
The man and woman were both struck by a car in Saltergate, Chesterfield town centre, on Saturday, November 30.

Hide AdEmergency services were alerted to the incident at 2.20pm and the despite the efforts of medics at the scene, the man was unable to be saved.
The woman was taken to the Northern General Hospital in Sheffield, where she remains today in a serious condition.
They were struck by a dark coloured Audi, driven by a 20-year-old man, who was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
He has since been released under investigation.
Police officers investigating the incident want to trace motorists with dash cam footage.

Hide AdDerbyshire Constabulary said: “Officers are very keen to receive dash cam footage of this incident and are appealing directly to anyone who was driving in the area around the time, who may have captured the incident on video.
“They would also like to hear from anyone with private CCTV installed in the area or, anyone who witnessed what happened.
“If you have footage which may be of use to officers please download it onto another device and store it securely ready for officers to view.”
