South Yorkshire robber 'threatened to stab woman with needle'

Sheffield Crown Court heard on June 9 how Daniel Heaps, aged 34, of Clara Place, Rotherham, pleaded guilty to the robbery relating to stolen jars of coffee on May 10.
Richard Adams, defending, said Heaps made a threat to the complainant that he had a needle and that he would stab her.

Hide AdHeaps also pleaded guilty to the theft of a bottle of gin from the same victim on May 10 and pleaded guilty to the theft of two bottles of gin from another complainant from May 9

He also admitted possessing class A drug crack-cocaine from May 10.
Mr Adams added Heaps has a drug problem and understands the only outcome is a custodial sentence.
Recorder Adrian Langdale adjourned the case for sentencing on June 17. Heaps was remanded in custody.
