Dan Prutton, of Woodhouse, said people are becoming “sick and tired” as this has become an almost nightly routine where their wheelie bins are stolen only to be set on fire at a nearby park.
"It was nearly every night last week and I could see them doing it from my bedroom window,” he said.

"When they were out of our sight, they set the bin on fire when the fire service was already en route.”
Mr Prutton said although the police have been informed, it was frustrating to know that there was nothing they could do about it.
"They told us to keep reporting about it, but we want to do more than reporting because when are these people going to learn? We will not keep quiet until they are all going to get caught," he said.

But the police and the council could both play their parts in securing the area, he added.
South Yorkshire Police also confirmed receiving reports of wheelie bins being stolen and and set on fire last night in Beever Hill Road.
A spokesperson said: “It is reported that a group of teenagers stole wheelie bins from addresses on the street and set them on fire in Beever Hill Park.

The police are calling for witnesses that could help their enquiries by calling 101 quoting incident number 928 of October 28.
This is not the first time that such an incident has occurred. Yesterday, it was reported that the residents from Skye Edge Avenue were experiencing the same problem in the last three weeks.
