Sheffield rape: Everything we know after two boys charged and another boy, 14, arrested

- An investigation was launched on Tuesday, November 24 after a woman reported being raped the night before.
- The 21-year-old woman reported being sexually assaulted as she walked through High Hazels Park, Darnall, at around 6pm.

Hide Ad- South Yorkshire Police said four males were involved in the incident and the force made four arrests on Wednesday, December 2.
- Four boys, aged 13, 14, 15 and 16, were quizzed over the incident.
- They were arrested after police officers searched two homes in Darnall that morning.
- The 16 year-old boy was charged with rape yesterday and the 14 year-old boy was charged with attempted sexual assault.

- The 13 and 15 year-old boys have been released on police bail as enquiries into the incident continue.
- The boys charged over the incident cannot be named for legal reasons.
- The two boys charged were due in court on Friday.
- Police patrols were stepped up in Darnall in the wake of the rape in a bid to reassure local residents of their safety.
