Sheffield and Rotherham men arrested over stabbing in Doncaster street

Police officers were called to Shady Side, Hexthorpe, at 3.20am on Thursday, May 7 to reports of a stabbing.
They found an injured 28-year-old man in a property and he was taken to hospital for treatment.
His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Hide AdThe suspects, an 18-year-old Sheffield man and a 25-year-old Rotherham man, were arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
They were later released on police bail.
A crime scene cordon was in place for much of yesterday for a forensic examination to be carried out.
House-to-house enquiries were also conducted.
