Police say gun attack victim, 16, was injured in 'targeted' attack in Sheffield

The teenager was sat in a car in Thirlwell Road, Heeley, when he was shot at in the early hours of Saturday, February 29.
He was taken to hospital, where he underwent surgery and is described as stable today.

Hide AdThe teen is expected to be discharged over the next few days.
A 30-year-old man who was also in the car was also shot, but less seriously.
He was later arrested on suspicion of possessing an offensive weapon – a baseball bat – and drink driving.
Detectives are said to be ‘keeping an open mind' as to whether the shooting is linked to any other incidents.
