Sheffield Crown Court heard on September 1 how Vanusa Vianna, aged 39, of Cowley Gardens, Westfield, Sheffield, pestered her victim for money before visiting his home and forcing her way in and stealing his laptop, a mobile phone and cash.
Louise Gallagher, prosecuting, said: “He walked to the local shop and was approached by the defendant and she asked him for money for electricity.”

Ms Gallagher added the complainant was later woken by banging at his door and the complainant asked him for money again and barged into his Sheffield home and she put her arms around him and got £45 out of his pockets.
Vianna also picked up the complainant’s laptop, according to Ms Gallagher, and as he tried to stop her she lifted it up and he raised an arm and took the impact of a blow from the computer before Vianna also fled with his mobile phone.
Vianna told police she had had sex with the complainant but he would not pay her so she took his laptop but Recorder Richard Woolfall said this was a lie.

Vianna pleaded guilty to the robbery after the offence in June.
The defendant also has a previous conviction for theft after stealing cash from a retired widower after claiming to him she had no money for her children when she is not a mother.
Francis Edusei, defending, said Vianna has suffered with mental health problems and has led a chaotic lifestyle.
