Detectives are searching for 30-year-old Ahmed Farrah, who is believed to hold vital information about the murder.
Farrah, who is also known as ‘Reggie’ and has links to Broomhall, is said to know he is wanted but is deliberately evading arrest.
A £5,000 reward for information leading to his arrest has been offered by Crimestoppers.

Farah was treated for facial injuries believed to have been sustained in the same incident in which Kavan was wounded.
He returned to the hospital the following day but then disappeared from Sheffield and was last seen in Cardiff.
Speaking about her plight, Kavan’s mum, Emma Hamilton posted on Facebook in response to South Yorkshire Police making an arrest for another murder in Sheffield.

“No justice for my Kavan makes me furious inside.”
Officers have carried out enquiries across the UK in a bid to find Farrah.
They have visited friends, relatives and acquaintances and served harbouring notices which warn that anyone found helping Farrah faces arrest and prosecution.
It is thought possible that Farrah may have fled the country.
