Man shot in Sheffield street in 'targeted' attack

A 24-year-old man was found with gunshot wounds to his neck and back in William Street, Broomhall, at 11.30pm on Tuesday, February 18.
He is believed to have been shot close to the recreation area on nearby Upper Hanover Street.

Hide AdNo arrests have yet been made over the shooting but South Yorkshire Police confirmed today that it is being treated as a ‘targeted attack’.
The force said it is keeping an open mind as to whether the gun attack is linked to any other incident.
In a statement, it said: “We are following up a number of lines of enquiry and keeping an open mind as to whether or not this incident is linked to any others.”
